AUBURNDALE, Fla. – The Olivet College baseball team suffered a 15-8 loss to Westminster (Pa.) College today at the Lake Myrtle Sports Complex in Auburndale, Florida.

- The teams combined for 15 runs and 14 hits in the first inning, as the Titans scored eight runs on eight hits and the Comets scored seven runs on six hits.
- Westminster added three more runs in the third and one in the seventh and eighth innings to take a 14-7 lead.
- Olivet scored its final run in the bottom of eighth inning.
- The Titans used a two-out rally to plate their final two runs in the top half of the ninth.
- Senior Aaron Gillespie went 2-for-5 with two doubles.
- Senior Logan Sella also had two hits in three official at-bats.
- Olivet used seven pitchers in the game. Senior Zac Walter lasted only one-third of an inning to be tagged with the loss. He gave up all of the first-inning runs on eight hits.
- Seth Schrader collected four hits (three singles and one triple), four RBI and two runs.
- Matt Costello had three hits and three RBI from the leadoff spot in the lineup.
- Dawson Porter scored three times.
- Logan Minch was the winning pitcher despite allowing seven runs on seven hits. He walked three and struck out six.
- The Comets conclude their Spring Break trip tomorrow when they play Nebraska Wesleyan University. First pitch at Chain of Lakes Stadium in Winter Haven is 12:30 p.m.
