Bowling teams competes at AHBA #3

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Olivet College men's and women's bowling team teams participated in the American Heartland Bowling Association #3, held today at Thunder Bowl I.
Final Result: Men – 11th of 15 varsity teams; women – 7th of 11 varsity teams
Location: Thunder Bowl I; Fort Wayne, Indiana
Format: 5 regular games, 12 baker games
- Olivet finished with a 4,264 total in the regular games and 2,099 total in the baker games for a 6,563 grand total.
- Junior Brandon Kreiner was the Comets' top finisher, as he was 14th of 93 bowlers. He recorded a 1,006 pin total over the five regular games for a 201.2 average. Kreiner's best game was a 232 in the fifth game.
- Junior Evan Warner placed 42nd with an 857 total, with his top game being a 187 in the third game.
- Freshman Connor Cameron had Olivet's best game, as he bowled a 234 in the second game.
- Olivet posted a 4,234 total in the regular games and 1,938 total in the baker games for a 6,172 overall total.
- Junior Denise Bryce had the Comets' best performance, as she finished fifth eighth of 71 bowlers. She posted a 1,000 total (200.0 average). Bryce's best game was a 242 in the final game.
- Sophomore Isabell Young averaged 175.6 pins over her five games, and her best game was a 201.
- Olivet is off until 2022 when it hosts an AHBA event on Saturday, January 8, at CharLanes in Charlotte.
