Women’s bowling team competes at Adrian Open

ADRIAN, Mich. – The Olivet College women's bowling team competed Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Adrian College Open. The tournament took place at the Lenawee Recreation Center in Adrian.
The Comets finished with a team score of 3,174 and a baker total of 2,342 for a team total of 5,516 pins. Individually, junior Megan Wright finished with 694 pins over her four games to place 12th of 57 bowlers. Her high game was 232, which was the second-highest score among all women's bowlers and a personal-best. Freshman Amanda Igl totaled 680 pints to finish in 17th-place. Her high game was a 186.
The Comets are now off until the American Heartland Intercollegiate III and IV tournaments Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 30-31, in Wickliffe, Ohio.
