Women’s bowling team opens 2015-16 season at UNOH Racers’ Classic
The Olivet College women’s bowling team opened its 2015-16 season Sept. 19-20 at the Racers’ Classic, hosted by University of Northwestern Ohio and at Westgate Lanes in Lima, Ohio.

LIMA, Ohio – The Olivet College women's bowling team opened its 2015-16 season Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 19-20, at the Racers' Classic, hosted by University of Northwestern Ohio and at Westgate Lanes in Lima, Ohio.
The Comets finished the two-day tournament with 6,144 total pins across six games and 16 bakers. Leading the way for Olivet was freshman Brianna Thurlby who averaged 138.5 pins over the six games, with a high game of 157 pins. Sophomore Bailey Tyler was next at 138.4 and a high game of 160 pins.
The Comets are off until Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 31-Nov. 1, when they participate in the first two rounds of their American Heartland Intercollegiate Conference schedule at Super Bowl in Canton.
