This week’s Dean Trailways Female Comet of the Week is junior Brittney Prince, of Ferndale, and graduate of Ferndale High School. Prince helped the women’s volleyball team split four matches at its home tournament. In 12 sets, she led the Comets with 43 kills and posted a .270 attack percentage. Prince also recorded eight blocks (two solo and six assisted). Earlier in the week, she slammed down a team-leading 17 kills in a four-set loss at Alma College.
