Bio
While a student at Olivet College you lettered four years in
wrestling and one year in tennis. As a member of the Olivet
Wrestling Team you brought many honors to yourself and your
College. As a freshman you were named All-MIAA the last year the
conference included wrestling as a sport. That year you were the
only freshman to beat the defending conference champion. You went
on to be named All-American twice and to qualify for the NCAA,
Division III Nationals three times. You were voted best competitor
and most valuable, twice.
As a student you were active in a wide range of areas. You served
as Vice President of the Recreation Club. You were a writer for the
student newspaper, The Echo, and you were a student campus security
guard. You were also active in intramural sports, including
championship teams in flag-football and indoor soccer.
After graduation from Olivet you were Certified as a Personal
Trainer by the American Council of Exercise. You are now the
Director of Admissions and Career Development for American
Education Center, Inc.
Because of your exceptional abilities as a student athlete, it is
with great pride that on this 26th day of October, 1996, we induct
you into the Olivet College Athletic Hall of Fame.
