Bio

At Waterford Mott high School you proved your athletic prowess as a member of the wrestling team. After being recruited by Coach Klein you became an important part of the Olivet College Wrestling Squad for four years, lettering all for years as well. Your talent was recognized when you earned individual honors for most pins and several top finishes in tournaments around the United States. For all four years, 1974-1977 you qualified for Nationals. Within the MIAA you were designated All-Conference in 1956, 1976 and 1977. You were a member of several Olivet College teams that went 76-3. Your exceptional caeer at Olivet ended with 74 wins to 21 loses.

You were active on campus as a member of Adelphic Alpha Pi Fraternity. You proved your ability as a student as well, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1977 with a major in biology and minor in physical sciences.

You have excelled in the world of business as well. From 1980 until 1994 you served as president of Able Concrete Walls, Inc. Since 1994 you have served as vice president of Accura Concrete Walls, Inc. The young athletes of your community have benefited from your experience as a coach and sponsor of little league baseball and the Viking Wrestling Club. Together with your wife Janet you are raising two children Erin and Brent.

Because of our outstanding abilities as an athlete and businessperson it is with great pride that this 16th day of September 2000 we induct you into the Olivet College Athletic Hall of Fame.
