Bio

You were a four-year letterwinner on the volleyball and softball teams at Olivet. You excelled in both sports. On the volleyball team, you were a three-time team Most Valuable Player and the Most Valuable Defensive Player four times. During your junior and senior seasons, you served as team captain. In softball, you were selected as the team’s Most Valuable Defensive Player four times and were the team’s captain as a senior. As a freshman, you helped the Comets win the SMAIAW state championship and advance to the MAIAW regionals.

Your fondest memories in both sports were playing with your sister, Ann, and now you join her in the Olivet College Athletic Hall of Fame.

You graduated from Olivet with a degree in mathematics. Since leaving Olivet, your passion for sports has continued as you have coached baseball and softball to children of all ages. For nine years, you coached your son’s baseball teams, and for the last eight years, you have coached your daughter’s softball teams. In 2013, you served as the head coach for the All-Star AKL 10U softball team which advanced to the Indiana state tournament and the regional tournament in Louisville, Kentucky. You also serve on the Angola High School softball coaching staff as the JV team’s coach

Olivet honors you and is proud to induct you into the Olivet College Athletic Hall of Fame this 10th day of October, 2014.
