Cross country teams run at Knight Invite

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Olivet College men's and women's cross country teams ran today at the Calvin College Knight Invite, held at the Gainey Athletic Complex in Grand Rapids.

Location: Gainey Athletic Complex; Grand Rapids, Mich.

• Junior Kyle Markley was the first Olivet runner to cross the finish line, as he ran the 8K race in 28:14.7.
• Sophomore Kyle McDowell was right behind him at 28:18.7.
• Junior Jaden Costa completed the race in 28:27.7.
• Freshman Chase Mendham had a time of 28:48.8.

• Sophomore Kaylee Richardson had the Comets' fastest time, crossing the finish line of the 6K race in 26:16.7.
• Junior Morgan Greenman was next at 26:26.8.
• Freshman Savannah Baker finished the race in 27:05.9.

• Olivet is off until Saturday, Sept. 21, when it competes at the Western Ontario Invitational.
