OLIVET, Mich. – Recent Olivet College graduate Jenna Mayle (Ionia) has been tabbed to the 2013-14 Capital One Academic All-America® Division III Women's Track and Field/Cross Country second-team, as selected by College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Mayle graduated in May with a perfect 4.0 grade point average in visual arts. A four-year letterwinner on the women's track and field team, she competed in the 400-meter hurdles, setting a school record in the event (1:08.39). Mayle also ran a leg of the 4x400-meter relay. Off the track, she was a member of art alliance and earned President's List honors every semester.
Mayle is the first Olivet student-athlete to earn Academic All-America® honors in two different sports. During the fall, she was named to the women's soccer third-team.
