Cross country teams place fourth and 16th at Lansing Invitational
The Olivet College men’s and women’s cross country teams placed fourth and 16th at the 2019 Lansing Community College Invitational, ran today at Grand Woods Park in Lansing.

LANSING, Mich. – The Olivet College men's and women's cross country teams placed fourth and 16th at the 2019 Lansing Community College Invitational, ran today at Grand Woods Park in Lansing.
Location: Grand Woods Park; Lansing, Michigan
- Olivet totaled 125 points.
- Junior Kyle Markley completed the 8K race in 26:53.8 to be the Comets' top finisher. He placed eighth among the eligible scoring runners.
- Freshman Chase Mendham finished in 27:12.6 to place 15th.
- Sophomore Kyle McDowell was next at 27:34.2.
- Olivet totaled 444 points.
- Sophomore Kaylee Richardson ran the 5K course in 21:24.0 to be the Comets' first finisher.
- Freshman Savannah Baker completed her run in 22:06.1.
- Olivet is off until Saturday, Oct. 19, when it competes at the Inter-Regional Rumble, hosted by Oberlin (Ohio) College.
