Men’s and women’s cross country teams place 31st and 33rd at NCAA Regional
The Olivet College men’s and women’s cross country teams wrapped-up their seasons with 31st- and 33rd-place finishes at the 2018 NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional, hosted by Franklin College and run at the Blue River Course in Shelbyville, Indiana.

SHELBYVILLE, Ind. – The Olivet College men's and women's cross country teams wrapped-up their seasons with 31st- and 33rd-place finishes at the 2018 NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional, hosted by Franklin College and run at the Blue River Course in Shelbyville, Indiana.
- Olivet totaled 867 points.
- Sophomore Kyle Markley was the first Comet to cross the finish line in the 8K race, as he had a time of 27:37.6.
- Senior Brad Thomas finished in 27:44.6.
- Freshman Kyle McDowell was next in 27:47.5.
- Senior Mark Smith completed the race in 28:31.6.
- Junior Ernesto Gutierrez was the last Olivet runner to contribute to the team score, as he finished in 28:44.3.
- Olivet tallied 1,021 points.
- Sophomore Maisie Baker ended the 6K race in a time of 27:13.0.
- Freshman Kaylee Richardson had a time of 27:42.0.
- Senior Michaela Kaliniak was next at 28:23.0.
- Senior Zoe Feighner finished in 28:31.8.
- Junior Maggie Graham completed the race in 30:06.3.
