Men’s and women’s cross country teams finish eighth and 16th at LCC Invitational
The Olivet College men’s and women’s cross country teams finished in eighth and 16th-place at the 2018 Lansing Community College Invitational, held today at Grand Woods Park in Lansing.

LANSING, Mich. – The Olivet College men's and women's cross country teams finished in eighth and 16th-place at the 2018 Lansing Community College Invitational, held today at Grand Woods Park in Lansing.
Location: Grand Woods Park; Lansing, Mich.
- The Olivet men totaled 206 points.
- Senior Brad Thomas was the top finisher, as he placed 36th and covered the 8K course in 27:06.1.
- Sophomore Kyle Markley was next in 41st-place with a season-best time of 27:10.5.
- Freshman Kyle McDowell completed the race in a season-best time at 27:25.1.
- Sophomore Ernesto Gutierrez finished in a personal-best time of 27:45.1.
- Senior Mark Smith ran the race in 28:19.6.
- The Olivet women totaled 434 points.
- Sophomore Morgan Greenman crossed the finish line in 67th-place with a personal-best time of 21:11.8 for the 5K course.
- Freshman Laura Tuttle was next with a season-best time of 21:50.8.
- Sophomore Maisie Baker completed the run in a career-best time of 22:26.3.
- Senior Zoe Feighner finished in 23:01.8.
- Junior Maggie Graham had a personal-best time by almost one full minute at 24:07.1.
- The Comets travel to Ohio next Saturday, Oct. 13, to run at the Inter-Regional Rumble at Oberlin College.
