Cross country teams compete at Bill Salter Western Invitational
The Olivet College men’s and women’s cross country teams competed this morning at the 44th Annual Bill Salter Western International Invitational at the Thames Valley Golf Course in London, Ontario, Canada. The Comet men finished in 16th-place with 417 points, while the women were 14th with 404 points.

LONDON, Ontario – The Olivet College men's and women's cross country teams competed this morning at the 44th Annual Bill Salter Western International Invitational at the Thames Valley Golf Course in London, Ontario, Canada. The Comet men finished in 16th-place with 417 points, while the women were 14th with 404 points.

- Sophomore Kyle Markley paced Olivet on the 8K course with a 93rd-place finish and time of 26:43.
- Freshman Kyle McDowell was the next Comet to cross the finish line at 28:09.
- Sophomore Ernesto Gutierrez finished right behind McDowell with the same time, 28:09.
- Sophomore Jaden Costa finished in 28:48.
- Junior James Thurman completed the race in 29:57.
- Sophomore Morgan Greenman led Olivet with a 93rd-place finish and time of 26:08 in the 6K race.
- Sophomore Maisie Baker was next at 27:22.
- Freshman Laura Tuttle had a time of 27:48.
- Senior Zoe Feighner finished in 28:20.
- Junior Maggie Graham crossed the line at 29:20.
- Olivet runs at the Lansing Community College Invitational Friday, Oct. 5.
