OBERLIN, Ohio – The Olivet College men's and women's cross country teams ran today at the Inter-Regional Rumble, hosted by Oberlin College.
THE BASICS

FOR THE COMET MEN (8K RUN)
- Olivet totaled 628 points to finish 24th of 31 teams.
- Senior Bruce Baker placed 16th of 264 runners with a time of 25:54.4.
- Junior Mark Smith was 98th with a time of 27:22.0.
- Freshman Jaden Costa had a season-best time of 29:03.2.
- Junior Brad Thomas crossed the line in 29:15.8.
- Sophomore James Thurman completed the race in a season-best time 29:50.4.
FOR THE COMET WOMEN (6K RUN)
- OIivet finished with 803 total points to place 28th of 29 teams.
- Senior Nicole Zerfas was the top finisher, as she completed the race in 26:02.1.
- Freshman Morgan Greenman finished in a season-best time of 26:11.5.
- Junior Nicole Gilbert was next with a personal-best time of 26:23.4.
- Senior Abigail Gaines had a season-best time of 26:42.0.

- Olivet is idle until Saturday, Oct. 28, when it competes at the 2017 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championships. Adrian College is hosting the event at Heritage Park in Adrian.
