Eleven Olivet College athletic teams have received the 2018-19 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Team GPA award. The award is presented annually to the conference teams who have a 3.30 or higher cumulative grade point average for the entire academic year.

One hundred seventeen (117) Olivet College student-athletes have been named to the 2018-19 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Academic Honor Roll. Olivet succeeded the 100 plateau for the sixth time in school history.

The Olivet College volleyball team lost in three sets to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association leader Calvin College tonight at The Cutler Event Center in Olivet. The Knights, ranked No. 1 in the American Volleyball Coaches Association poll, won by scores of 25-15, 25-22, 25-19.

Women’s volleyball team loses twice on day one of home tournament

The Olivet College volleyball team welcomed three other schools – Wis.-Eau Claire, Finlandia and Denison (Ohio) -- to The Cutler Event Center for the first day of a tournament. In today’s matches, the Comets lost in three sets to Wis.-Eau Claire and Denison. The other matches saw Wis-Eau Claire sweep Finlandia, and Denison win in three sets over Finlandia.

Women’s volleyball team posts 1-1 record at Worthington Classic

The Olivet College volleyball team posted a 1-1 record in two matches this afternoon at the 2018 Worthington Classic at Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. The Comets beat the host Bison in four sets before losing a five-set thriller to Farleigh Dickinson University-Florham (N.J.). For her performance, junior Morgan Champion was named to the all-tournament team.
