SUNDAY, AUG. 6 -- written by Claudia Crampton, Kaylin Holley and Allison Turner
Our trip is quickly coming to an end, but the memories that we are making will last a lifetime.
Day four, in Turks and Caicos started out with an 8 a.m. workout followed by a yoga session on the back porch. After our workout we walked down to the beach to soak up some sun! The weather was just like any other day on the island... sunny and beautiful.
After spending some time on the beach, we made our way back to the villa to make lunch. With tan skin and full tummy's, we ventured out to a local shopping center to buy souvenirs for our friends and family. Following our few hours of shopping, we ventured back to our villa to relax and get ready for a dinner on the water.
Our dinner on the water quickly became interesting as it started to rain. The locals laughed as some of us became frantic in that moment, but they assured us that it would pass over in a matter of seconds. As we sat at the table eating our meals, three roosters slowly strolled around the tables minding their business.
We enjoyed the scenery of the beautiful blue beach water then shortly headed back to the villa. When we arrived, some of us walked to the beach and ended the night by watching the beautiful sun set.
