Volleyball team loses to Kalamazoo in three sets
The Olivet College volleyball team lost a three-set match to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Kalamazoo College tonight at The Cutler Event Center in Olivet. The Hornets won by scores of 25-22, 26-24, 25-14.

The Olivet College volleyball team lost a three-set match to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Kalamazoo College tonight at The Cutler Event Center in Olivet. The Hornets won by scores of 25-22, 26-24, 25-14.
Sophomore Ellen Schulz (Freeland) and junior Kim Travis (Shepherd) led the Comets with eight kills apiece. Sophomore setter Jenessa Hicks (Union City) dished out 17 assists. Playing in her final home match, senior libero Ashley Adams (Brighton/Hartland) had a team-leading 16 digs.
Olivet will play two road matches next week, beginning Tuesday at MIAA-leader Calvin College. First serve will be 6:30 p.m. On Thursday, the Comets will play at Trine (Ind.) University at 7 p.m.
