Volleyball team loses to Hope in quarterfinals of 2005 MIAA Tournament
The Olivet College volleyball team fell to Hope College 30-18, 30-20, 30-22, tonight in the quarterfinals of the 2005 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Tournament at the Dow Center in Holland.

The Olivet College volleyball team fell to Hope College 30-18, 30-20, 30-22, tonight in the quarterfinals of the 2005 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Tournament at the Dow Center in Holland.
Freshman Mackenzie Heator (Union City) led the front row players with 10 kills. Freshman Sydney Kuipers (Charlotte) was next with five. Sophomore Jessica Petkus (Milford) posted 23 set assists. She and senior Katie Schaum (Marshall) topped the defense with 14 digs apiece.
The Comets end the 2005 season with a 7-25 overall record.
