The Olivet College volleyball team fell to non-conference foe Concordia University 31-29, 30-26, 28-30, 30-27, tonight at the Upton Center in Olivet.

Junior outside hitter Jamie Hutchison (Freeland High School) had a team-high kills and .244 hitting percentage to lead the front row players. She was followed by sophomore outside hitter Staci Hawley (Sparta/Kent City High School) and freshman middle hitter Lori Graham (Alpena High School) with 11 and nine kills, respectively. Hawley, Hutchison and sophomore Kendra Gilbert (Frankfort High School) each recorded two service aces. Freshman Sarah Geasler (Laingsburg High School) topped the team with 40 set assists. Defensively, freshman Julia Longman (Scotts/Climax-Scotts High School) had a team-best 12 digs. Freshman libero Danelle Snyder (Union City High School) was next with nine digs.
The Lady Comets (3-18) are next in action on Saturday, Oct. 11 when they travel to play Adrian College at 10 a.m.
