Volleyball team has 0-3 record at Aquinas College Invitational
The Olivet College volleyball team had a 0-3 record today at the Aquinas College Tournament in Grand Rapids. Senior middle hitter Erin Graham (Alpena High School) was named to the all-tournament team.

The Olivet College volleyball team had a 0-3 record today at the Aquinas College Tournament in Grand Rapids. Senior middle hitter Erin Graham (Alpena High School) was named to the all-tournament team.
The Lady Comets fell to NAIA foe Siena Heights 30-16, 30-16, 30-24 in their first match. They then dropped a 30-11, 30-19, 30-9 decision against the host Saints. Olivet ended play with a 30-17, 30-17, 30-19 loss to Alma College.
In the tournament, Erin Graham led the Comets with 23 kills. Freshman Lori Graham (Alpena High School), Erin's younger sister, had 12 kills. Freshman setter Sarah Geasler (Laingsburg High School) topped the team with 30 set assists. Geasler and Erin Graham had five blocks a piece. Freshman Danelle Snyder (Union City High School) had a team-best 22 digs and freshman libero Shannon Hall (Taylor/Truman High School) had 18 digs.
Olivet is next in action on Tuesday, Sept. 23 when it travels to play Rochester College at 7:30 p.m. On Thursday, Sept. 25, the Comets will resume Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association play at Kalamazoo College at 7 p.m.
