Women’s tennis team loses 7-2 to Indiana-South Bend

MARSHALL, Mich. – The Olivet College women's tennis team lost 7-2 to Indiana University-South Bend this afternoon at the Marshall High School Tennis Courts in Marshall, Michigan.

- The match started on time at 12 p.m., with the six singles matches taking the court. Around 25 minutes into the match, a heavy rain shower happened, causing the match to be delayed for nearly two and one-half hours.
- When play resumed, the Titans claimed wins in five-of-six singles matches and two-of-three doubles matches for the 7-2 victory.
- Sophomore Julia Miklusicak posted Olivet's win in singles at the No. 6 slot. She won 7-6 (5), 6-2.
- The No. 1 doubles duo of freshman Makenzie Borg and senior Miranda Pier won an 8-3 pro-set.
- Olivet travels Thursday, Sept. 19, to play a non-conference match at Goshen (Ind.) College. First serve is at 4 p.m.
