BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – The Olivet College women's tennis team was shutout by Alma College, 9-0, this afternoon at the Harper Creek High School Tennis Facility in Battle Creek.

Records: Olivet 0-5 overall, Alma 1-1 overall
- The Scots won all three doubles flights and the six singles flights.
- The most competitive match of the day came at No. 3 singles. After losing the first set, 6-3, junior Sydnie Weller rebounded to win the second set, 6-2. A super-tiebreaker determined the winner, and Weller lost 10-7.
- With the outcome decided, junior Alex Lesko fell 10-8 in a pro-set at No. 6 singles.
- Today's match marked the end of the fall portion of the Comets' schedule. Olivet is set to resume play February 23 when it hosts Holy Cross (Ind.) College at Minges Creek Athletic Club.
