SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Olivet College women's tennis team edged Holy Cross (Ind.) College, 5-4, in a non-conference match today at Leeper Park in South Bend, Indiana.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Comets won two-of-three doubles and split the six singles flights to pull out the narrow 5-4 win.
FOR THE COMETS
- In doubles play, sophomore Miranda Pier and freshman Keely Cruz coasted to an 8-1 win at the No. 3 slot. Juniors Rae Claramunt and Rachael Hager won an 8-5 pro-set at No. 2 doubles.
- Cruz also picked-up an easy win at No. 6 singles, 6-0, 6-1. Junior Nicole Losey did not lose any games en route to a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 5 singles. Pier clinched Olivet's win with a 6-0, 6-4 straight set victory at No. 4 singles.
