ALBION, Mich. – The Olivet College women's tennis teams dropped an 8-1 decision to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Albion College today inside the Ungrodt Tennis Center in Albion.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Britons won all three doubles flights. The No. 1 and No. 2 flights were decided by a 9-7 score, and the No. 3 flight needed a 7-5 tiebreaker to settle the 9-8 outcome.
- Albion earned wins in 5-of-6 singles flights. Two of the wins went to three sets, and a third had a tiebreaker in the second set.
FOR THE COMETS
- Junior BreAnne Rudlaff picked-up Olivet's only point with a 6-3, 6-2 victory at No. 3 singles.
UP NEXT
- Olivet travels to play Calvin College Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. and hosts Saint Mary's (Ind.) College Sunday at 1 p.m. If weather permits, Sunday's match will be played outdoors at Harper Creek High School in Battle Creek. If not, it will be moved indoors to the Minges Creek Athletic Club.
