Eight Olivet College athletic teams receive MIAA Team GPA award
FREELAND, Mich. – Eight Olivet College athletic teams have received the 2020-21 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Team GPA award. This award is presented annually to the conference teams who post a 3.30 or higher cumulative grade point average for the entire academic year.

Nine Olivet College student-athletes named Arthur Ashe, Jr. Sports Scholars
Nine Olivet College student-athletes were recently recognized by Diverse: Issues in Higher Education as a 2020 Arthur Ashe, Jr. Sports Scholar for their dedication to academics and athletics. Olivet’s honorees are Riley Bennett, Griffin Hammond, Liam Kinjorski, Kea Kunz, Karina Marin, Cameron Ramos, Yul Snell, Samantha Torres and Rachel Webb. Hammond, Kunz, Snell and Torres also earned this honor in 2019. To view the complete list of honorees, click here. Olivet men and women finish fifth and sixth at MIAA Swimming & Diving Championships
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Olivet College men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams have finished in fifth- and sixth-place at the 2020 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championships. Calvin hosted the championships at the the Venema Aquatic Center.

Swimming & diving teams have 5-1 combined record in triple dual at Manchester
NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – The Olivet College men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams combined to post a 5-1 record in a non-conference triple dual meet today at the Strauss-Peabody Aquatic Center in North Manchester, Indiana. The Comet men beat all three schools, Manchester (Ind.) Anderson (Ind.) and Urbana (Ohio). The Comet women defeated Manchester and Urbana.

Swimming & diving teams swept in double dual meet at Calvin
The Olivet College men’s and women’s swimming & diving team were swept in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA double dual meet this afternoon at the Venema Aquatic Center in Grand Rapids. The Comet men fell to Calvin University, 141-81, and Kalamazoo College, 153-85. The Olivet women suffered a 166-49 loss to Calvin and 178-44 loss to Kalamazoo.

The Olivet College men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams competed in the three-day Carthage Classic, held inside the Koenitzer Aquatic Center in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Highlighting the meet was the first-place performance by the men's 200-yard medley relay.
