ANGOLA, Ind. – The Olivet College women's soccer team closed out the 2022 season with a 4-0 loss to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) foe Trine (Ind.) University tonight at Zollner Stadium.
- Final Score: Trine 4, Olivet 0
- Location: Zollner Stadium; Angola, Indiana
- Records: Olivet 3-10-1 overall, 1-7-0 MIAA; Trine 10-4-3 overall, 5-1-2 MIAA
- The Thunder scored three of their goals from the 58th minute to 67th minute.
- Trine capped the scoring with a goal in the 85th minute
- Senior Mary Mitchell had the two shots for Olivet.
- Sophomore Jordan Hartman suffered the loss in net, as she made seven saves in the complete game performance.
- Olivia Butterworth, Taylor Currier, Lindsey Meyer and Andrea Wright scored the goals.
- Teresa Ashbrook recorded a team-leading five shots.
- Sophia Aschemeier and Madison Kinneer split time in goal. Aschemeier played the first 77 minutes and Kinneer played the final 13 minutes to combine for the shutout win.
