HOLLAND, Mich. – The Olivet College women's soccer team fell to defending Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) champion Hope College, 2-0, this afternoon at the Van Andel Soccer Stadium in Holland.

Records: Olivet 4-4-2 overall, 0-2 MIAA; Hope 8-0-1 overall, 2-0 MIAA
- The Flying Dutch scored their first goal in the 12th minute.
- The score remained 1-0 at halftime.
- Hope netted its final goal in the seventh minute of the second half.
- Olivet was held to just one shot by senior Kaitlin Irish.
- Sophomore Samantha Gifford saw action for all 90 minutes in goal and had seven saves.
- Maria Egloff and Hilary Curry scored the goals, while Curry had an assist.
- Hope took 20 total shots in the game, placing half of them on-frame.
- Curry led the way with four shots.
- Jordanne Elingboe made one save, while playing the entire game in goal.
