HOW IT HAPPENED
- The game was a tale of two halves. In the first half, Olivet out-shot the Grizzlies, 12-8.
- Franklin scored the first goal in the 12th minute before sophomore Abby Radcliffe netted the equalizer with just under five minutes left before the halftime break.
- Leon scored on the Comets' only shot attempt in the second half. The goal came with 27 minutes and 11 seconds left in the game.
FOR THE COMETS
- To go along with her goal, Leon had a team-best six shots, including four on-goal.
- Radcliffe tallied three shots.
- Freshman Brooklyn Holley played all 90 minutes in goal and collected eight saves.
FOR THE GRIZZLIES
- Maddie Fleet scored Franklin's goal off a pass from Jillian Lawrence.
- Fleet recorded a game-high eight shots.
- Lexi Short made seven saves in goal.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Tonight's game was the head coaching debut for Sarah Maracani.
- It was also the first time that the Grizzlies and Comets have played each other in women's soccer.
- Olivet has now won its season-opener in five straight seasons.

- Olivet will stay in Franklin tonight to play Rose-Hulman (Ind.) Institute of Technology tomorrow afternoon at 4 p.m. The Fightin' Engineers were shutout by Thomas More (Ky.) College, 1-0, in their season-opener.
