The Olivet College women's soccer team fell to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) foe Kalamazoo College, 1-0, this afternoon in Olivet. The loss snaps the Lady Comets’ (5-5, 3-3 MIAA) three-game winning streak.

The Olivet College women's soccer team fell to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) foe Kalamazoo College, 1-0, this afternoon in Olivet. The loss snaps the Lady Comets' (5-5, 3-3 MIAA) three-game winning streak.
Kalamazoo (5-4-1, 4-2-1 MIAA) scored the winning goal with just three seconds left in the game. Junior goalkeeper Gretchen Ford (Harbor Springs High School) played the entire game while facing nine shots and making three saves. Six different Olivet players were credited with a shot.
Olivet will next play Tuesday, Oct. 5, when it travels for a 4 p.m. game at Alma College.
