RICHMOND, Ind. – The Olivet College women's lacrosse team dropped an 18-5 decision to Earlham (Ind.) College today at Alumni Stadium in Hanover, Indiana.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After the Quakers scored the first goal, junior Sabrina Butler leveled the score with an unassisted tally with 25:59 left in the opening half. Earlham responded with four straight goals to go up 5-1. Senior Krystin Verran assisted on senior Stephanie Robinson's goal to make the score 5-2. The Quakers put two more goals on the scoreboard before Butler netted the final goal of the half for a 7-3 score at the break.
- Verran found the back of the net on a free-position attempt three minutes and 27 seconds into the second half. Earlham answered with a goal but Butler scored 50 seconds later to trim Olivet's deficit down to four, 9-5. The Quakers scored nine unanswered goals to end the game.
FOR THE COMETS
- Butler tallied her three goals on five shots. She also topped the team with five draw controls and two caused turnovers.
- Verran also had five shots to go along with her goal and assist.
- Senior Keri Hettinger made nine saves while playing all 60 minutes in goal.
FOR THE QUAKERS
- Lauren Cole scored seven goals on a team-leading 11 shots.
- Olivia Wallace also tallied seven goals on nine shots. She won a team-high five draw controls.
- Jordan Blackburne earned the win in goal, making six saves.
