OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College women's lacrosse team fell to Elmhurst (Ill.) College, 15-2, this afternoon at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bluejays scored the first eight goals. The Comets got on the scoreboard with 4:40 left before halftime after senior Krystin Verran found the back of the cage. Elmhurst tallied another goal with just under a minute left in the opening half to take a 9-1 lead at the break.
- In the second half, the Bluejays notched five goals to go ahead 14-1. With 7:26 left in the game, junior Sabrina Butler scored on a free-position attempt. Elmhurst finished the game's scoring with an unassisted goal with 4:09 remaining.
FOR THE COMETS
- Verran and junior Kara Dishaw each took three shots.
- Butler had four ground balls.
- Freshman Grace Forbush played the first half in goal and collected five saves.
- Senior Keri Hettinger saw action in the cage for the second half and recorded eight saves.
FOR THE BLUEJAYS
- Isabel Walker had five goals and one assist for six points. She also tallied a game-high nine shots, placing seven on-goal.
- Katie Miller registered four goals.
- Grace Knoebel finished with two goals, three assists and seven shots.
- Megan Keener picked-up the win in goal. She played the first 30 minutes and had three saves.

- Olivet welcomes the Cornell (Iowa) College Rams to the Cutler Athletic Complex next Thursday, March 8, for a non-conference contest, starting at 3 p.m.
