NORMAL, Ill. – The Olivet College women's golf team is in 13th-place after the first round of the 2018 Illinois Wesleyan University Fall Invitational at the Ironwood Golf Course in Normal, Illinois.
Location: Ironwood Golf Course; Normal, Ill.
Par / Yardage: 72 / 5,835 yards
- The Comets completed the opening round with a 344 team score.
- Washington University-St. Louis (Mo.) leads the field with a 293.
- Samantha Haubenstock from WashU is the first-round individual leader with a two-under par 70.
- Junior Nicole Deweyert carded an 82.
- Sophomore Crystal Lettinga was next at 86.
- Junior Taylor Elley finished with an 87.
- Freshman Erin Taylor had an 89.
- Freshman Logan McLane rounded out Olivet's lineup with a 101.
- Elley and McLane both had three birdies.
- The second round of the tournament is tomorrow and has a 9 a.m. CT shotgun start.
