MARSHALL, Mich. – The Olivet College women's golf team sits eighth after the first round of the 2018 Kyle Campbell Memorial Invitational, hosted by the Comets at The Medalist Golf Club in Marshall.

- The Comets posted a 350 team score.
- DePauw (Ind.) University leads the 14-team field with a 311. Bethel (Ind.) College is a close second at 316, followed by Carthage (Wis.) College at 322, Hope College in fourth at 335; and Albion College in fifth at 345. Calvin College and North Central (Ill.) College are tied for sixth with matching 347s.
- Larisa Luloff, the defending medalist for the tournament, is the individual leader with a two-over par 74.
- Olivet's top three golfers are separated by one stroke each.
- Junior Nicole Deweyert has the best score with an 84.
- Junior Taylor Elley is next at 85.
- Sophomore Crystal Lettinga finished with an 86.
- Freshman Erin Taylor carded a 95.
