Women’s golf finishes second at MIAA NCAA Playoff #2
The Olivet College women’s golf team finished second at the second of three rounds of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) NCAA Playoff. Saint Mary’s (Ind.) College hosted the round at the Knollwood Country Club in Granger, Indiana.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Comets posted a 345 team score, which was two strokes less than third-place Hope College and 10 strokes less than fourth-place Alma College.
- The host Belles took first-place with a 327.
- Taylor Kehoe from Saint Mary's was the medalist with a six-over par 78.
FOR THE COMETS
- Sophomore Taylor Elley tied for second-place in the player standings with a career-best 79. She was even par on the par 3s, +6 on the par 4s and +1 on the par 5s.
- Sophomore Nicole Deweyert shot an 84.
- Junior Hayley Cooper carded a 90.
- Freshman Crystal Lettinga completed her round in 92 strokes.

- Tomorrow, the final 18 holes of the playoff will also be played at Knollwood.
