MARSHALL, Mich. – Sophomore Ashley Folleth posted a two-round total of 158 strokes to lead the Olivet College women's golf team to a runner-up finish at the 2017 Kyle Campbell Invitational, played at The Medalist Golf Club in Marshall.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After shooting a 342 team in Friday's first round, the Comets lowered their team score by 12 strokes to post a two-round total of 672 strokes and edge Hope College by one stroke.
- DePauw (Ind.) University won the team title with a two-day total of 632 strokes. The rest of the top 10 were North Central (Ill.) College, 689 (644-645); Wheaton (Ill.) College, 698 (348-350); Trine (Ind.) University, 700 (356-344); Carthage (Wis.) College, 703 (355-348); and Alma College, 730 (373-357).
- Larisa Lulof from DePauw had back-to-back 75s to earn medalist honors with a 150.
FOR THE COMETS
- Folleth was a part of a three-way tie for third-place and landed a spot on the all-tournament team with her 158 (78-80).
- Sophomore Nicole Deweyert shaved 11 strokes off her first round score with a team-best 78 today, and finish with a two-day total of 167 strokes to tie for 10th-place in the player standings.
- Junior Hayley Cooper was 14th in the player standings with a 170 (86-84).
- Freshman Crystal Lettinga completed her two rounds in 177 (89-88) total strokes.

- Olivet participates in the Illinois Wesleyan University Invitational next Saturday and Sunday at the Ironwood Golf Club in Normal, Illinois.
