MARSHALL, Mich. – The Olivet College women's golf team finished in fourth-place of six schools at the 2017 Labor Day Classic, played at The Medalist Golf Club in Marshall.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Olivet had back-to-back 339 team score for a two-day total of 678 strokes.
- Saint Mary's (Ind.) College overcame a two-stroke deficit after the first round to beat Rose-Hulman (Ind.) Institute of Technology by 15 strokes, 650-665.
- Hanover (Ind.) College took third-place with a 673, while Franklin (Ind.) College was fifth at 782 and Defiance (Ohio) College was sixth at 832.
- Madison Cody from Hanover earned medalist honors with a 154, including 75 in today's second round.
FOR THE COMETS
- Sophomore Ashley Folleth tied for seventh-place in the player standings with a two-day total of 167 strokes.
- Sophomore Nicole Deweyert finished 11th with a two-round total of 169 strokes.
- Junior Hayley Cooper dropped 10 strokes off her first round total with an 81 in today's round for a two-day total of 172 strokes.
- Sophomore Taylor Elley improved by two strokes for a two-round score of 174 strokes.
- Freshman Crystal Lettinga returned to the club house with a two-day total of 183 strokes.
