MARSHALL, Mich. – The Olivet College women's golf team is tied for third-place out of six schools after the first round of the Labor Day Classic at The Medalist Golf Club in Marshall.

- Olivet posted a 339 team score to be tied with Hanover (Ind.) College.
- Rose-Hulman (Ind.) Institute of Technology sits on top of the leaderboard with a 331.
- Saint Mary's (Ind.) College is third at 333. Franklin (Ind.) College is a distance fifth at 403, followed by Defiance (Ohio) College at 424.
- Madison Cody from Hanover and Taylor Kehoe from Saint Mary's lead the player standings with 79s.
FOR THE COMETS
- Sophomore Nicole Deweyert is tied for fourth-place with an 81.
- Sophomore Ashley Folleth shares seventh-place with an 83.
- Freshman Crystal Lettinga completed her round in 87 strokes.
- Sophomore Taylor Elley was a stroke behind at 88.
- Junior Hayley Cooper returned to the clubhouse with a 91.
