- Olivet was finally able to dent the scoreboard in the top of sixth. Michelin drew a walk on a full count. Senior Brielle Broderick sacrificed her to second base. After the second out was recorded, freshman Alexis Bond hit a bloop single into shallow left field. Michelin hustled around the bases to score the game's first run.
- Saint Mary's used a two-out double to put a pair of runners in scoring position. The tying run came on an infield single, and the go-ahead run scored on an error. Three Comet ground outs concluded the game.
- Olivet tallied three hits – one each for Bond, Michelin, and sophomore Mattie Akom.
- In the circle, Michelin went the distance. She gave up the two runs (one earned) on nine hits, while striking out three.
