OBERLIN, Ohio – The Olivet College men's and women's cross country teams participated in the 2018 Inter-Regional Rumble, hosted by Oberlin College.
Location: Oberlin College; Oberlin, Ohio
- Olivet totaled 441 points to place 19th of 27 schools.
- Freshman Kyle McDowell was the first Comet to cross the finish line, as he completed the 8K race in 27:25.4.
- Senior Brad Thomas was next in 27:31.8.
- Sophomore Kyle Markley was not far behind in 27:34.9.
- Sophomore Ernesto Gutierrez finished in 27:58.0.
- Senior Mark Smith had a time of 28:26.6.
- Olivet had 780 points to finish in 26th-place.
- Sophomore Morgan Greenman was the Comets' top finisher, as she covered the 6K course in 25:26.0.
- Sophomore Maisie Baker was next at 26:49.5.
- Freshman Laura Tuttle completed the race in 27:09.0.
- Senior Zoe Feighner had a time of 28:09.3.
- Junior Maggie Graham finished in 29:28.1.
- The Comets now begin preparations to compete at the 2018 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championships in two weeks, Oct. 27, at the Eastern Hills Golf Course in Kalamazoo.
