Men’s volleyball team wins twice at Judson Invitational
ELGIN, Ill. – The Olivet College men’s volleyball team won two non-conference matches today at the second day of the Judson University Invitational, held at the Lindner Fitness Center. With the two wins, the Comets finish with a 3-1 record at the invitational. Today, Olivet beat Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) University in three sets before defeating Roosevelt (Ill.) University in four sets.

With the two wins, the Comets finish with a 3-1 record at the invitational. Today, Olivet beat Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) University in three sets before defeating Roosevelt (Ill.) University in four sets.

- Sophomore Deontay Thomas paced Olivet with a match-high 14 kills.
- Sophomore Kai Hartman added eight kills to go along with seven set assists and three service aces.
- Sophomore Everett Haynes recorded 25 set assists.
- Junior Dakota Galeazzi tallied a match-best 11 digs.
- Collier Kahaku Marqu registered a team-leading eight kills.
- James Balance had seven kills to go along with a team-best eight digs.
- Hunter DeMello and Garrett Schad dished out 15 and 14 set assists, respectively.

- Thomas finished with a match-best 19 kills. The 19 kills are the third-most in school for a single match and ties for second-most in a four-set match.
- Hartman notched 11 kills and posted a team-best .259 attack percentage.
- Haynes collected 34 set assists.
- Galeazzi recorded a match-high 21 digs to break the single-match school record.
- Shawn McCarthy posted a team-best 11 kills.
- Kayan Abdou tallied 10 kills.
