Men’s volleyball team ends season with three-set loss to Greenville
The Olivet College men’s volleyball team closed the curtain on the 2019 season with a three-set loss to Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League (MCVL) foe Greenville (Ill.) University today at the Cutler Event Center in Olivet. The Panthers won by scores of 25-22, 25-15, 25-20.

OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College men's volleyball team closed the curtain on the 2019 season with a three-set loss to Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League (MCVL) foe Greenville (Ill.) University today at the Cutler Event Center in Olivet. The Panthers won by scores of 25-22, 25-15, 25-20.

Records: Olivet 3-17 overall, 1-8 MCVL; Greenville 10-15 overall, 2-7 MCVL
- The Panthers led 7-4 in the first set. The Comets used a 4-0 run to take their first lead, 8-7. After tied scores at 8-8 and 9-9, Greenville went on a 5-0 scoring spurt to go up 14-9. The Panthers maintained their lead until Olivet leveled the score at 19-19. Greenville scored the next point and did not relinquish its lead for the rest of the set.
- The Panthers never trailed in the second set.
- The Comets led 1-0 and 2-1 early in the third set. Greenville answered with three straight points for a 4-2 lead. Olivet closed the gap to a single point on three occasions. After the last time at 6-5, the Panthers went on a 6-0 run. Greenville did not give up the lead for the remainder of the set.
- Junior Brock Pringle topped Olivet with 12 kills and .200 attack percentage.
- Juniors Deivan Prince and Trent Robinson each recorded seven kills.
- Junior Aaron Giorgi dished out 26 set assists.
- Sophomore Tanner Gardenour had eight digs.
- Kyle Ward finished with a team-high 11 kills.
- Tanner Milabu was next with six kills.
- Tanner Smith collected 30 set assists.
- Nick Corrigan registered a match-best 10 digs.
