Men’s volleyball team swept by Carthage in three sets
The Olivet College men’s volleyball team was swept in three sets by Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League (MCVL) leader and No. 1-ranked Carthage (Wis.) College tonight inside the Cutler Event Center in Olivet. The Red Men won by scores of 25-8, 25-15, 25-18.

OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College men's volleyball team was swept in three sets by Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League (MCVL) leader and No. 1-ranked Carthage (Wis.) College tonight inside the Cutler Event Center in Olivet. The Red Men won by scores of 25-8, 25-15, 25-18.

- The Red Men led from start-to-finish in the first two sets.
- The Comets held a 1-0 lead in the third set. Carthage answered with a 3-0 run and did not relinquish its advantage for the rest of the set.
- Junior Brock Pringle had eight of the 19 Olivet kills.
- Junior Deivan Prince recorded five kills and team-best .231 attack percentage.
- Junior Aaron Giorgi tallied 15 set assists.
- Parker Connolly topped the team with eight kills, followed by Bryce Thomas with seven.
- Matt Reinsel dished out 36 set assists.
- Kai Cronwell registered a match-high four digs.
- Olivet is back in action tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. against North Central (Ill.) College.
