CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. – The Olivet College men's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision to Wabash (Ind.) College this afternoon at Fischer Field in Crawfordsville, Indiana.
- Final Score: Wabash 4, Olivet 0
- Location: Fischer Field; Crawfordsville, Indiana
- Records: Wabash 2-0-0 overall, Olivet 0-2-0 overall
- Wabash led 3-0 at halftime after scoring goals in the 16th, 29th and 36th minutes.
- The Little Giants netted their final goal with just over six minutes left in the game.
- Olivet was held to six shots.
- Freshman Braden Abbott tallied two shots.
- Junior Carlos Santos started between the pipes and allowed the three goals before getting replaced by junior Ian Morrison right before halftime. Santos collected three saves, while Morrison had two.
- Hayden Eaton, Caleb Castano, Jesse Martinez and Myles Bernat each netted one goal.
- Castano registered a team-best three shots.
- Soren Russell earned the win in goal. He played all 90 minutes and made one save.
- The Comets stay on the road to play Bluffton (Ohio) University next Wednesday, September 7. The game is a part of a soccer doubleheader in Bluffton. The Olivet women also face Bluffton at 3 p.m., with the men's game to follow around 5 p.m.
