ANGOLA, Ind. – The Olivet College men's soccer team battled to a 2-2 double overtime draw against Trine (Ind.) University today at Weaver Field in Angola, Indiana.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Freshman Anthony Pena put the Comets ahead 1-0 off a free kick in the 36th minute.
- The score stayed 1-0 at halftime.
- Olivet stretched its lead to 2-0 in the sixth minute of the second half when junior David Magallon converted a penalty kick goal.
- The Thunder cut their deficit in half at the 53:46 mark.
- Trine tied the game with 36 seconds left in the second half.
- Both teams had a shot in the first extra session, while the Thunder took two shots in the second overtime period.
FOR THE COMETS
- Olivet recorded 13 shots in the game, including three for Pena.
- Four others each tallied two shots.
- Freshman Justin Lavin played all 110 minutes in goal and collected six saves.
FOR THE THUNDER
- Mason Pelphrey and Jonathan Slone scored the goals.
- Chris Clemens registered a game-high five shots.
- Connor Werschem played the first half in goal and had two saves. Quinn O'Brien was in net for the second half and did not make a save.
