OLIVET, Mich. – A goal in the 34th minute for Carthage (Wis.) College was the difference, as the Olivet College men's soccer team fell to the Red Men, 1-0, tonight under the lights at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet.
There was not many offensive chances in the game, as the teams combined for only 11 total shots. Carthage scored its goal when Olivet keeper Ryan Grashik came off his line and the player chipped a shot over his head. The Comets had a couple chances late in the game to tie the game but the ball bounced the wrong way.
Five different Olivet players recorded a shot. Grashik made two saves.
The Comets will rest tonight and be back in action tomorrow night when they welcome Spring Arbor University to the Cutler Athletic Complex for a 7 p.m.
