The Olivet College men's soccer team snapped a three-game losing streak today with a 5-4 win over Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) foe Alma College at Scotland Yard in Alma.
Freshman Brian Knechtges (Williamston) scored twice for the Comets (4-8, 3-3 MIAA) while Kevin Hagan (East Lansing), Alan Holdorf (Novi) and Andrew Lansang (Rock Springs, Wyo.) tallied a goal apiece.
Senior Will Drogt (Kewadin/Elk Rapids) played the first half in goal and allowed one goal. Freshman Ben Richardson (Traverse City/Central) was the goalkeeper in the second half.
Olivet plays its next three games at home, beginning Tuesday, Oct. 11, against Albion College at 4 p.m.
