The Olivet College men's soccer team fell to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) newcomer Tri-State (Ind.) University, 2-0, this afternoon in Angola.
The Thunder (3-15-1, 3-10-1 MIAA) scored their first goal in the 16th minute. The score was still 1-0 at halftime. In the second half, Tri-State tallied its final goal with just six seconds left in the game.
For the game, senior Frank Barretta (Macomb Lutheran North High School) had two shots, and six different Olivet players had a shot each. In goal, junior Will Drogt (Kewadin/Elk Rapids High School) played the entire game. He faced 21 shots and made three saves.
The Fighting Comets end their season with a 3-13-4 overall record and 1-12-1 MIAA mark.
