The Olivet College men's soccer team suffered a 7-0 loss today against Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) leader Hope College in Olivet.
The Flying Dutchmen (12-3-0, 9-0-0) jumped out to a 5-0 halftime lead and never looked back. The Fighting Comets (2-9-4, 0-8-1 MIAA) were limited to seven shots in the game. Junior Gabe Pringle (Grand Blanc High School) was credited with three shots, including two on goal. In goal, junior Will Drogt (Kewadin/Elk Rapids High School) played the first 77 minutes, facing 19 shots while making four saves. Freshman Mike Manning (Charlotte High School) finished the game in goal and made two saves.
Olivet will host Kalamazoo College this Saturday, Oct. 23, at 1:30 p.m.
