The Olivet College men’s lacrosse team fell to Milwaukee (Wis.) School of Engineering, 17-5, today at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet.

OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College men's lacrosse team fell to Milwaukee (Wis.) School of Engineering, 17-5, today at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The teams traded the first four goals of the game, resulting in a 2-2 tie with 7:34 left in the opening quarter. The Raiders then scored six straight goals – two at the end of the first stanza and four to start the second quarter – go up 6-2. The Comets tallied one more goal before MSOE scored the last two goals of the quarter to lead 10-3 at halftime.
- The Raiders added to their lead with five goals in the third quarter.
- The Comets put two goals on the scoreboard to open the fourth period and make the score 15-5. MSOE scored the last goals to create the final score.
FOR THE COMETS
- Senior Cameron Bazin scored three goals and topped the team with 17 total shots, including 10 on-goal.
- Freshman Joshua Brantley netted the other two goals.
- Senior Cullen Haesler recorded seven ground balls.
- Freshman Connor Hamm caused three turnovers.
- Freshman Jake Steele suffered the goalie loss. He made 14 saves.
FOR THE RAIDERS
- Clay Gustafson led all players with eight points on four goals and four assists.
- Collin Fischer had a team-leading five goals and 11 shots.
- Oliver Winser and Harrison Davies each scored two goals.
- Pat Collins played the first three quarters in goal to pick-up the win. He had 11 saves.
